Babystyle

As excited as Johnny and I are about having a little boy, I am having a little trouble getting excited in the clothes department. There are TONS of cute baby girl clothes out there, but the boy clothes... well, lets just say they leave much to be desired. However, I was at Willowbend Mall today looking around and I went into a store called Babystyle for the first time. They had the CUTEST baby clothes for boys and girls and I found these tees that I absolutely fell in love with for Levi. Are they cute are what?

Telling our parents...

Since we found out we were having boy 4 days before Christmas, we decided to wait and surprise our parents so we didn't tell them right away. We went out with Johnny's parents and grandma on the 23rd. I fixed up a sign that said "It's a Boy" and picked up a flower bouquet pick at a local florist and stuck the sign in the pick. When we arrived at the restaurant, Johnny discreetely handed it to the waiter and told him to put it in his mom's drink. When the drinks arrived everybody saw the news!

The next day was Christmas Eve. That morning we were coming over to my folks house before our big family party. We were bringing Cage (our black lab) over, so we tied a blue ribbon around his neck with a note that said "It's a Boy!" When Cage came bouncing in they saw the blue ribbon and realized we were having a little boy!

Levi's first swim trunks

My sister-in-law gave Levi his first swim trunks from Janie and Jack. I can't wait to see him in these this summer! Oh and of course he has to have the sunglasses to go with the trunks. Is he going to be cool or what??

Nursery idea

I found this nursery on babymania.com. It is by designer Glenna Jean. This is the type of theme Johnny and I are thinking about for the nursery. I want to make it look a little more babyish though.

is when our little angel arrives! Johnny and I found out we we were expecting Labor Day weekend. After being in our brand new house for one night, I woke up the next morning feeling a little sick to my stomach. I took a pregnancy test and almost passed out when I saw two lines! Johnny was in the next room and I walked in holding the pregnancy stick and we were both in shock. Once the news settled in, we were so excited! We told our parents that weekend and of course they were so thrilled about becoming grandparents. On December 21st we had our sonogram and found out we are having a boy! Levi has been kicking and moving around a lot lately. In fact, Johnny got to feel him move on New Year's Eve!
