Levi must be inspired by the Olympics because he performed an AMAZING feat today...he rolled over for the first time! I was over at my parents house and I laid him down on his tummy for some "tummy time." The next thing I knew, he had rolled all the way over! Of course we called daddy and told him the good news, and hurried home to show him. As soon as we walked in the door, I laid him on his playmat, tummy down, called Johnny in the room, had the cameras ready and we waited...and waited...and waited. NOTHING! I think Johnny started to think I had made it up. So later on tonight, I decided to give it another try. I laid him on his tummy and he did it for daddy! I think he deserves a gold medal, don't you?

This mugs as cute as a bug (on a rug)
Levi was in such a good mood today, so I decided to set up my own little photo shoot. I couldn't quite get him to smile for the camera, but I got some great shots of his cute little mug :-)

Levi's Big Dedication Day
This morning we went back to Christian Life Assembly to have Levi dedicated by our former Pastor. So in order to get Levi ready for his big day, we gave him a good, soapy bath so he would smell good, put some baby lotion on him, dressed him in his dedication outfit complete with matching shoes and hat, fed him so he would be in a good mood, and right when church was starting, he had a MAJOR blowout all over his outfit! There was poop everywhere and we were supposed to go on stage in about 15 minutes! I started freaking out, so Debbie, our amazing nursery director took over and started scrubbing. We were frantically running around trying to get the stain out. Then we threw it in the dryer and waited for it to dry. And waited. And waited some more. After what seemed like an hour, it was still wet, so Debbie took it to the bathroom and held it under the hand dryer. Finally, we threw the outfit on him and walked in right as they were calling us up. whew! Thank you Debbie! You are AMAZING!
Back when we were still on staff at CLA Johnny promised the youth that we would come back and visit and he would hold Levi up like Simba in the Lion King. So this morning they suprised us after the dedication and as we were about to walk off the stage, they played the clip from the Lion King with "The Circle of Life". All of the youth came up front and Johnny got to hold Levi up in front of everyone like Simba. It was hilarious! As soon as I can figure out how to get the video onto the computer, I will post it :-)
After church we had Johnny's family and some friends of ours, Tim and Kelsey Mullaney, over to our house. Here are some pics from Levi's big day.

Levi's 1st 4th of July
We went to East Texas this weekend to celebrate the 4th of July with my family. Here are some pics of Levi in the country :-)
Levi and his Aunt Beebe
Sportin his sunglasses
Daddy acting goofy with the firecrackers :-)
On Saturday we came back to Dallas and hung out with Johnny's family! We barbecued and hung out by the pool all day. Too bad Levi is still too little to swim! I can't wait till he can wear his adorable board shorts! We were having so much fun, I forgot to take pictures!

Naptime
Ahhh naptime. Levi is sleeping peacefully in his swing, with his paci and drool dribbling out of his mouth. I should be sleeping myself right now, or better yet cleaning house. But instead, I decided to waste time doing this fun little quiz I found on another blog. I'm such a sucker for these :)
The Questions:
1. What is your first name? Stephanie
2. What is your favorite food? Mexican
3. What city were you born in? Dallas
4. What is your favorite color? green
5. Who is your celebrity crush? Patrick Dempsey
6. Favorite drink? sweet tea
7. Dream vacation? Greece
8. Favorite dessert? ice cream
9. What you want to be when you grow up? an interior designer
10. What do you love most in life? my family
11. One Word to describe you. loving
12. Your best friend? Jenny
If you'd like to do it too here's what you do:
Open three windows. One with the list of questions, another open to Flickr and ready to do an image search, and a third to Big Huge Labs' Mosaic Maker (create a mosaic with 4 columns and 3 rows). Answer the first question, put your answer in the search field on Flickr and choose one of the images from the first page to represent your answer. Click on the photo then copy and paste the url into the #1 spot on the Mosaic Maker. Do that for all 12 questions, then click create and post the results to your blog!
