Life Lessons

Last summer, my best friend Jenny and I decided to start a summertime concert tradition. So this summer, we wanted to keep the tradition going and I was ready for a break from changing diapers and needed a girls night! So we decided to go see Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift at the Superpages.com center. However, lets just say our night didn't go exactly as planned. In the words of Jenny (as posted on her blog), here are the valuable life lessons we learned from our night:
1. Dallas traffic REALLY sucks.
2. It is NEVER a good idea to attend a "country" music concert EVER.
3. Even when you whisper directly into your friends ear in a loud concert somehow the crazy drunk girl you are referring to will ALWAYS hear you.
4. NEVER believe the shady guy standing in the middle of the street with an orange flag telling you the parking lot is full and that you have to park across the street in front of a bunch of houses with more shady people perched on their porches...fondly known as the ghetto...and then pay him the $10 to do so.
5. (And here's one of my own) A girls chick flick night at home with an ample supply of popcorn and candy is ALWAYS better than being in a crowd of 20,000 drunk people.

So we ended up leaving the concert after about 15 minutes and ended up at the shops at legacy with some Starbucks and window shopping, which was WAY more our style. Does this mean we are getting old?

Heeheehee oh how I would much rather a movie night! And I don't care if that does mean I'm getting old! :-)
